  1. Well I`m up for the run over to Rutland and beyond so if we want to ride over to there, someone suggest a meeting place and time.
  2. Not with the Chaser. It was quite a difference how much quieter the chaser was.
  3. I used to have the older version of the RX-7 (08 model) and it was a bit noisy due to all the vents. It`s more geared for the racer (so Iv`e been told) and thats why there are so many vents, however it was a fantastic, lightweight helmet and worth the money I paid for it. I now have the "Chaser" and am equally pleased with this one and it`s a lot cheaper than the RX-7. Cant comment on the Shoei, sorry.
  4. could well be Ash. Wait till after the clocks go forward and I`m sure a few more will get there.
  5. Deff up for the 27th. Will look out for times and meeting place for ride over there. Not heard about the usual Rutland Run that I`ve been on these past two years. I don`t think the organiser gets on here anymore.
  6. Sounds good. Gave it a miss yesterday as felt crap and had no energy what so ever. Soon be organising those Sunday runs to hunny or somewhere that has a nice pub for a sunday roast. Mmmmmm
  7. Did you get out peeps over the weekend ?????
  8. Imagine at the end of the day (yesterday) you get a marked up copy of changes needed to a drawing you`ve done. You do all the changes, marking each one done as you complete them. You the arrive in work the next morning and the boss has scribbled about ten more changes he wants totally f**king up your planned work day. f**k IT... I feel like ripping the bloody thing up and throwing it accross the room.
  9. Glad to read Darren, lets hope it gets a bit warmer around that time.
  10. I was out yesterday morning, though every one else was wimping out. Met a guy at the X services at Peterborough on an old limited edition blade. Black white and red colours. Fantastic looking bike.
  11. I`ve got a good textile jacket that I normally wear in winter with leather trousers but the zips knackered so i`m having to wear my leather jacket too. Fortunately its apparently waterproof. Plenty of under layers keep the cold out and in summer I just keep the front zip undone a bit to let in the fresh air.
  12. Just been looking through the pics section and noticed your Gixer 1000, Luverly bike mate, I have the 750. Did you get down to the meet ??? Darren, did not get to the doctors, pains easing a bit. Today is a 5 out of 10 on the pain scale so hopefully by the weekend all will be well for a nice ride out.
  13. To be honest mate, Stu is right. The best kit should fit the best. Ignor previous crap and get yourselfe some good fiting kit. I`m 6`-1" also
  14. You`ve already got the gear so try and make best use of it. I`m sure in time the leather will "give" a bit and loosen up the more it`s worn. As for the length of the sleeves, might sound daft but get some gloves with long cuffs to cover up the arm ends. As long as the kjacket is OK around the chest it should be fine. Please tell me you`re not a gorilla and your knuckles drag on the floor
  15. My fancy dress sorted, lets just say its from a 70`s band that I did not particulary like, they just had a very signature (far northern) dress sense, Susie, I`ll pm you my musical accompaniment.
  16. Shit news PD. Lady Luck will smile one day
  17. Hope you guys had a good night.
  18. Still feeling crap and got a banging headache due to the neck pain. Praying for 4.00pm when I can feck off home. Doubt I`ll make it guys/gals. Have a good laugh and hopefully we`ll all meet up pretty soon for a blast.
  19. Definately try and get over, but I had a hell of a night last night. My neck and back ceased up and I could hardly move. Even hurt when I swallowed or coughed, my neck muscles were in that much of a spasm. You know I`m bad cus I`ve come into work on the bus . Still in agony so I`ll see what I`m like tonight to get on the bike.
  20. Can anyone recommend a good, warm, kidney belt. I`ve been getting bad back aches and I`m putting it down to getting cold kidneys. Looking for a non supportive one as that would be too baulky. Just want something that keeps out the wind and the chill. Any links would be helpful Cheers Neil
  21. Yep, we like spontin*ety, spontinity...feck it ......"quick thinkin"
  22. Yes Techno, Vicki, Roy, Neil, Cobbz Etc Etc Etc lol. If I acted my shoe size I`d be 8....hows that. "...it`s fun to be at the BMTF, BMTF,...."
  23. Got the boots yesterday and rode home and into work today. Very comfy to wear and broad in the foot. Size 9 slighty too big but with two pair of socks on for the winter they should be OK. Well worth £90. My old ones have been assigned to the bin, too many holes, worn soles and frayed stitching.
  24. Can do the 8th but would need to leave about 7.30pm max. (due to domies) No probs though as i`ll get there for a round 6-00 - 6.30ish.
