  1. Right, I`m out tonight to get some points so watch out. Got some reasonable villages picked out and a route planned. Pity bloody petrol is so flamin expensive.
  2. Did you get over there last night DaddyG, We must try and make it over one week. Do you know if he`s doing it next Tuesday. (13th)
  3. No probs mate, hope the missus gets well soon. Quick one of me so you know who to look out for when you do get over. Will only be you and GOG travelling up on Sunday, seems most of us have had to pull out for various reasons.
  4. Will be putting some more on after the weekend. I intend to do some scrabble runs on saturday, possibly friday night as well, we`ll see.
  5. Anyone else going tonight. Usual time if you want to meet up at mine for the ride over.
  6. Yep, good ride out, enjoyed it. Heres to another, soon.
  7. Word of advice Well I eventually got one and after 2 weeks the seam between the crotch zip and front zip split. Sent it back, and to the shop`s credit, got one returned within 3 days. Well again after 2 weeks approx. the seam in the same place went. so sent that back, each time it was costing me a fiver to send back. The shop sent it back to revit who reinbursed them the cost of the suits. I now have been sent a new one so I`ll wait and see if it holds up. They are brilliant though for doing the job and keeping you cool in this hot weather.
  8. David, check out the thread below yours dated 4th July.

  10. If I`m there, I`m up for it. In other words I`ll check on the day and come over if I feel OK to do so. Sounds a good plan though
  11. I`m looking for a better C than the one we got last night. May well go out again tonight. Not for as long though. Finish about 6.00
  12. Usually bike gear comes with sewn in protection around the elbows, shoulders, knees and in some cases hips. Jackets normally have a softish shaped back protector which is OK but not as good as a specialist one. Abrasion protection is best provide (so i`m told) by leather. Like said, get down to a shop and try it all on, and do a deal with the owner if you get all the gear from one place. I did and saved quite a bit.
  13. Off we go again then. And yes I do like doing this Anyone found any Z`ds yet ???

  16. RST was my first set of gear and it lasted well. Richa are similar priced or BKS. Do try the helmet on though, never buy without doing so as most shops won`t take them back once they`ve left the premises.
  17. Good to meet you eventually Jayne and your friend. Neil
  18. Great night last night. Must be the most there this year, possibly due to there being the Duke stand and about 10 nice dukes to take out and test ride. Drooled over a black speed triple.
  19. We`ll not leave till 6.30 so should still be about.
  20. I`ll be going along tonight if anyone wants to meet up for the ride over. 6.15 ish at mine or where ever anyone might want to meet.
