  1. I`ll be heading over to Stamford Superbikes for about 10.00am if anyone wants to join up and have a bit of a ride out after the bikes been assesed. Text me after 4.00pm if interested.
  2. I have the Kriega 15 litre. Fantastic bit of kit. It has the shoulder harness and a waist strap (which the 25 does not have). This holds it in place nicely. Depending on what you want to carry, I`d go for the 15litre. Does me for a small food shop, work clothes and gym gear. As Joe says..waterproof, comfy, bit pricy but then again you pay for what you get.
  3. Was going to come along but remembered I had a meeting to go to. Get to venue at 7.30pm only to find out venue had been changed. By that time I was not going to go home, kit up and ride several miles just to discuss scenery painting. Hopefully next week should be OK
  4. No choice, all weather (apart from snow) no car.
  5. Oh well UNCLE Dave, we`ll see you when we see you then
  6. Anyone want to meet up at mine for the ride over. Will be leaving mine at the usual time of 6.30pm
  7. Doubt it for Monday, need the £29 for booze in Turkey
  8. RST is pretty good gear. Reasonably priced and my old kit held up well for many miles.
  9. Yep, just could not believe the weather. Very hot and Hunny was packed.
  10. Text me guys if it`s happening cus I`m off air in 20 mins.
  11. Darren, I`d look at the forecast mate. Rain, rain and some rian chucked in for good measure. If it does happen to be dry, which I doubt, I`ll be leaving mine at about 10.00am. If it`s wet, I`ll still be there at 10.01am
  12. I doubt very much we`ll be going anywhere judging by the forecast. Be good if you could join up with us next week though Ian. Saturday looks a wash out too.
  13. Again, might be a bit out of your way, but if you can get to Dingle in Kerry, head up to the Connor Pass. You get a fantastic view of Brandon Bay and out over the Atlantic.
  14. A well know dealer is doing a come and test ride day (Suzukis) with some free nosh provided by the catering van. I`m up for taking a ride over in the morning if anyone fancies joing up and possibly taking out a bike for a test ride.
  15. Yep, I`ll be about. You arange meet time and place.
  16. Chucking it down in Brampton at around 6.00pm but stopped at 6.20ish. Rode over and by the big roundabout near the marina the roads were dry Quite as few turned up despite the black clouds looming. Hopefully full meet up next week
  17. I`ll be there weather being OK. Leaving mine at 6.30 so if anyone wants to meet up for the ride over, I`ll see you then.
  18. Good to meet up Joe and have a natter. Must do again while the weather holds but this time get a few more to attend if poss. Could do a nice Sunday roast in a pub or something.
  19. Anyone about ???? Weather says light rain but we`ll see.
  20. I had a quote from my local cobbler of £25 to replace the zip, so as Simon says...try a cobbler.
  21. I`ve only got experience with the BKS one and without having come off in it I can`t say how it will hold up during sliding. I will say however, it feels comfortable, even if the leather is a bit stiff to start with. The stitching does look good quality, I got it at a reasonable price of £479 from a dealer but look on e-bay for the same suit and you`ll get it cheaper with possibly some £149 gloves chucked in for free. I would advise strongly that you try the suit on at a shop before ordering off e-bay as I had to get a size bigger than I normally take.
  22. DaddyG keep looking at the Cambs ride out section.
  23. I`ll keep an eye on events. Dave, quite a few did turn up from Cam Rider now you mention it, along with a copper.
  24. Sounds great, wishing I`d have made the effort now. What time did you get back, I`d imagine it was pretty late.
