  1. Good for you Sam, that sounds like a great night out. Enjoy it, weather looks crap anyway.
  2. Just looked at Saturdays forecast on BBC and the rain is all over the parts of the country I`ll be travelling through to get to the meet point. Don`t mind getting caught out in a down pour but I think it`s daft (if you don`t have to) setting off in one. I`ll check nearer my time of off. Bloody weather, why then.
  3. 10-4 BIG BUDDY, come on back.
  4. Might be meeting up with Tigger, and possibly fleat if we can find a mutual meeting place
  5. Cheers Vicki, googling a route as soon as I`ve got a min. Whoooohoooo, big ride out.... we got a mighty convoy....ain`t nuthin gonna get in our way, we got a mighty convoy, cross the USA (North West ish) Convoooooy, Convooooy, for those old enough to remember the tune.........sing along (and yes, I know it`s about lorries but hey...feck it, it makes me happy )
  6. LOADS of bikes there last night. Think Sam`s got some pictures.
  7. Looks great Dan you lucky booger, I plan, one day to get up to Inverness along the side of Loch Ness, Scenery must be fantastic, judging by your photos I`m guessing it will be.
  8. Great pictures pal, and a good write up, green with envy.
  9. Anyone else got this yet ???? with a name like that pal, you don`t need our advice.
  10. Sorry guys, not having the time to trawl through the whole thread, exactly where is the meet on Saturday. I know it`s at 11.00am, post code would be handy, if not a good description as I`m crap at directions.
  11. Will get exact info on wher the meet is and will post up details later. Fleat, we`re down in Cambridgeshire, we`ll be riding accross country in a North West direction. If you need to look where I am the post code is PE28 4TQ. If you can see a good meeting point before we hit the venue then we could ride in the last few miles.
  12. Anyone from these here parts riding up for Saturdays meet. If so can we organise riding up together. A few of us is always better than doing long trips on your tod.
  13. Glad your haveing a great time Steve, just helped me make up my mind what I will be doing later in the year.
  14. Yep, would have been us, I went over to Chatteris to meet darren before we set off to Webbs. New cornering technique is to stop trying to act like a bloody racer and hang my arse over the seat (despite being told to do so). Apparently on a bike like mine I just need to sit on it and let the bike take the corner. Good advice though.....it works.
  15. Cheers guys, had a great day yesterday, good laugh, nice chips and curry and good company. Nice to get on some new roads, and thanks Darren for the advice on taking corners better. Been trying it ever since you said.
  16. Anyone form down this way heading up there for the meet at 11.00am. ????
  17. Next time you do a Rutland run, let us know, it`s only about 45 mins from me and I used to go there windsurfing a lot, Some great roads leading to it which i could show you.
  18. some good pics mate. bet you had a great day
  19. Anyone about for a bimble this Saturday/Sunday, would like to try some new roads so anyone wanting to just ride with no real destination give us an e-mail before 4.00pm or text me (number in contacts section)
  20. Nice pics of the babes I agree. I wanted my mate to get a plane taking off in the background (if you don`t know, the straight behind me lines up with the take off path from East Midlands airport) with the bikes in the mid ground and me in the foreground. Would have been a great build up for a shot but we were waiting too long and I said just "snap it".
  21. I`m with Phil on this one, socks in boots...despite the whiff. undergarments in a heap in the corner of my living room, leathers slung over a chair, gloves in lid on my table.
  22. Cheers Paul, I`ve only just brought the Richa "Street" trousers. I did think they would come with protection but as usual I forgot to read into it fully and have now found out they have no hip, leg or coxic (crap at spelling) protection. I`ve managed to find a pair of these shorts at a lower price from a ski shop, so think I`ll bite the bullet and just get them. All in all trousers and shorts £175 squid so not too bad.
  23. May get a day off work and come up and watch you guys. Not too keen on throwing my baby down the track, which I`d bound to do, but would enjoy the day out.
  24. Hope you lot had a great time. Glad the weather held out for the Bar-B-Que. Which gallery are the pickies in then, I can`t seem to find them.
