  4. Just seen that Gore tex have come up with some totally waterproof leather kit. I bet it will be ultra expensive but if money was no object I`d give it a look in. Protection from abrasion and the weather, what more from your kit do you need.

  14. Dave, plan on getting there for about 6.15ish, just to get a good space for exit. I may eat as well. Going to be flamin hot so I`ll get a table under a tree if I can. not sure about sam and the others, got a feeling Roy will be over and possibly Pete and Darren, maybe Derrick but its hios birthday so he may be getting his prezzy
  15. Shouldn`t get any fog in it yet pal, not in this heat. Wait till it rains then you`ll see if it works. As it happens they are good.
  16. Mark has a good point, I`ve said before my one piece is a lot cooler to ride in than my normal leathers because of the improved venting system, namely holes in the front panels and along the arms. It is however incredibly hot if you`re not riding. So for just ride outs I tend to wear that or if I`m stopping for any length of time the jacket and trousers go on. Don`t forget that darker colours absorb heat, lighter colours reflect it.
  17. Thanks very much Steve, can they be able to pick more than one option. Sorry to be a pain.
  18. May well do Roy, pm me your post code again mate I seem to have lost it. If I`m there I`m coming
  19. Mods would it be possible to put a pol up on the three dates in August, 2nd. 9th, 16th, and 30th. and the most for one date by say 27th July will be the day, Does that sound OK and fare with you folks ???????
  20. Ignor my pm about getting over tonight Tracey, I read this thread after I answeredv your pm I`ve read somewhere Cam Rider are having a ride out from sawston to the marina so with the good weather, numbers may be high. Think I may get there a bit earlier to grab a good parking space.
  21. Snap there mate, I had all my waterproofs in my rucksack due to BBC weather forecast. We stopped at a Mc Craps on the way home and boy was I wet through with sweat. Not a pretty site.
  22. My one piece is more vented than my everyday gear so when riding this is a lot cooler, just don`t want to stop thats the problem.
  23. Ok peeps, on the back that we all had a great weekend, one way or another, and with the rally coming up, I was wondering if anyone fancied a ride up to Hunstanton one sunday in august. Its a great little run of about 65 miles and will suit all sizes of bikes. Could start at mine with bacon sarnies, then head off to the coast to gaze at loads of bikes, fish and chip lunch, walk along the prom and then head off home. Come on you southerners, midlanders and northerners, come and see some real flat lands of the fens. Those that have been will tell you its a great day out Dates would be 9th, 16th, 23rd or 30th. DATE 16TH AUGUST - 11AM MEET AT NMANS HOUSE - SEE TOP OF PAGE 3
