  1. If it's just removing the wheel you don't need to split the chain.

Otherwise tyre fitters would need to do it.

Just lift the chain off and rest it on the swing arm and do whatever you need to do.

Putting the chain back on is easy.

Just put it on the top part of the sprocket and turn the wheel.

  2. Get some high temp silicon sealant. On the end can to the link pipe it will work a treat. Gum gum is just a temporary fix. A proper gasket should be used from the link pipe to the down pipes.

  3. What Falkirk charming? Did they not notice the great big flames from Grangemouth ?

Use to live in Falkirk (just down from the high) I had a lovely view of the Ochils out of one set of windows and a view of Grangemouth out of the other.

    So I wouldn't say it's charming :)

  4. FYI - Just been chatting to the Halfords trade manager and he told me that the guarantee on all Halfords Pro tools is changing...

    Big snip :-)

    :-)

Does that include all previously sold ones?

All it would take is for them to change the design of the ratchet handles or wording font to differentiate from the old and new.

Would be quite pleased thou if it did include my set
