  1. I hope so... But the issue that I have now is that I can't get the bike to the mechanics/garage since I'm worried driving it could cause more damage! and I can only go up to 2nd gear. calling a mobile mechanic is gonna be expensive as they charge a callout fee. Sticky situation!
  2. I thought about changing the whole engine to be honest as its much easier for me to undo some bolts and unclip some wires and replace the old engine with another one. But did a search on eBay and everything is so expensive! everything is £300+ for an old engine! I wasn't planning to spend that much to get this on the road. I thought what I bought was OK-ish happy to spend around £150 for another engine.
  3. thats what I was worried about! I don't have a clue where to start. Where is this box and do I need to dismantle the whole engine to get to it?
  4. Hi, I bought a Keeway superlight 125cc a few days ago and the seller never said anything about the 3rd gear being noisy or having issues! Cut the story short, I went to take the bike for the MOT this morning and I heard a horrible noise in the 3rd gear. it sounded like the chain was gonna come off! I turned around and cancelled the MOT. I've put the bike on the center stand and started it and put it in the different gears to see whats going on and where the noise was coming from and I found out that the noise is from somewhere near the small sprocket close to the engine! This noise gets much louder if im moving the bike but it is still very noticeable even when the bike's stationary and it only happens in the 3rd gear. Please view the video attached: https://streamable.com/d8lrwx The bike doesnt slip out of the gears so this can't be a clutch... what is the the issue here? and what are my options? Thanks in advance.
