  1. All these thoughts are on my mind now. I will be calling a guy who I used to get smaller jobs done by to see what he can do, but he is a bit further away. I'm more dissapointed than anything, as I wanted her all ready to ride without these thoughts running through my head. They went and replaced the battery without telling me as well, when I have a brand new one sat at home ready to fit
  2. Now you are making me worried Honda said it just requires Cam Chain Tensioner £120 fitted inc VAT. And Requires Exhaust Blow Investigate (Remove and check if can Weld). I am lost now. Do I take it straight back and get the work done? Im going to take some photo's and upload them of the downpipes etc.
  3. I am not sure, I never noticed a noise before, I will check it out tonight. Any advice on the exhaust blow? The downpipes seem quite flaky etc. Should I get it welded or get new pipes and exhaust?
  4. As far as I know the CAM Tensioner is used to adjust the chain, so I would imagine its fine until my next chain adjustment? Will need to get a Mig Weld on the Exhaust at some point...
  5. hey, Well I got my bike back from Service, £500 lighter. Got new tyres etc also. They said there is a blow in the exhaust that needs looking at, and also needs a new CAM Tensioner. Is this ok to ride still, or will this need doing ASAP? Thanks.
  6. Well I got the bike back from 16k. But they said I need a new CAM tensioner, and there may be a blow in the Exhaust. They neglected to tell me that BEFORE I turn up. Is that ok for a full day ride out?
  7. Hmm, dont know it. Idea was we could meet at Carnforth then come meet you lot at Brew stop.
  8. Heh, well Im sure I will lose you a few times, but I always wait
  9. Not me. I'll be the one with the golden locks flowing out the back of the lid.
  10. Shall we say 10.15 ish? We can hit Devils Bridge and then go meet the gang.
  11. Katchin, can join me if you like. I live opposite Norjac. Can meet in the car park next to the Chinese?

    Battery Prep

Just got a new battery off Ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270937343813?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 I also have a Halfords charger, it says it is for up to 1200CC. I used it on my current battery, not sure if it is doing any damage but I got a new one anyway as the battery hasn't been used in time and sometimes when left just a few days wont start the Bike. Any tips on prep and charging method? Cheers.
  14. I am getting it repaired. I need to plug it so I can ride it to the Garage! She is getting a 16k Service, plus oil/air filter, Oil change, Fluid changes and 2 new michelin pilot Road 2 tyres. If she is not ready Saturday, i will be out Sunday on the loan Bike, which is a brand new CBR 600F...
  15. Well I got the repair kit, so I will have a bash at fixing this tonight...if not, wont be riding on Sunday Anybody got any tips for puncture repair? The bit Im not sure about is getting the nail out, its quite deep...
  16. Exactly, I hope so too. but being my first REAL ride in 2.5 years, if I were to crash, you guys might be a lifeline...
  17. I just found it, and I still have access. My number is on there and it is corrrect.
  18. There used to be something when I was on here years back...you need to get permissions allocated to acces it or something...
  19. Should we create a contact number list? In case of no shows/seperations/crashes etc?
  20. Hahahah, you must be having a laugh right? If I try service it myself, my next ride will be 2015... I plan on fixing the puncture if my kit turns up before Thursday, then taking it to the garage to get service and 2 new rubbers. A little rub in on Saturday and ready for Sunday - fingers crossed...
  21. Sounds good to me, Hawes is a good run. Providing my bike is back from Service by the Sunday - Im dropping her in Thursday. That is providing I get my puncture fixed also...
  22. Skrillex...industrial dubstep (ish) - reminds me of mechanized robots, motorbikes, and all things awesome.
  23. Turntable wouldn't work given the angle of the doorway. The glide buddy works fine round the front door to swing the tail round to a 90 degree angle for entry into the hallway. The only issue is the clearance over the door frame. Need to make a 2 part ramp, I already have one half though.
  24. Yeah, the roller helped me get it in the front door! Also ordered these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190631604049?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
