  1. Dropped the bike again, I don't believe it. Now she lives back in the front entrance hallway, the ground clearance aint so good getting it out but at least it's a straight entry! Also booked her in for the 16k Service next Thursday with new Michelin Pilot Road 2 tyres.
  2. Will take a ride to Lancaster Honda to see what they have on offer tomorrow, if can't find anything I will get these levers. How difficult is the LED conversion? Thanks!
  3. Cheers fella, looks like Im buying more levers!
  4. Ah yeah, had this conversation in another thread, gave it a try the other day but I dont have the space - the Bike needs to travel sideways more...
  5. I had thought about LED indicators, but stupidly I went and bought a replacement as I wanted to ride Got any links?
  6. Hahaha you dirty man! I ended up getting this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300652037947?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2648
  7. I love it here
  8. Here are some pics...
  9. I've got some pictures which I will upload tonight. Even they don't do justice as to how impossible it is to maneuver in that yard though!
  10. That would be perfect except there is no space behind the bike whatsoever. I will upload a pic in the morning.
  11. THIS! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360-Degree-Motorcycle-Bike-Glide-Buddy-Garage-Mover-Workshop-New-/300652037947?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item460042073b
  12. Its more the angle that gets me. Trust me it is a B***er. I have about a full bike length before there is a wall stopping me from turning the bike to face the door. Also I had to make a ramp to clear the steps, and its impossible to wheel it backwards over the ramp. Needs driving up it.
  13. Thinking about it, I reckon a pair of wheel sliders should do the trick... One on each wheel to slide it sideways, then swing the rear round to line the bike up with the doorway. It took me 20 mins to get the bike out yesterday, that's 20 mins I could have spent riding!

    Bike Stand?

Not sure if what I need exists, but I need something which I can wheel my bike around on. Getting my bike out of my back yard is a mission, as the door is right up against a wall. I have to do a 50 point turn then shimmy the back end round, even then its hard to get through. I need something like a centre stand support which has 360 degree wheels on so I can wheel the bike sideways. Anybody know of something? Cheers.
  15. Done the indicator. But the brake lever is proving difficult, I cant get the adjuster to work as it should I think. The brake lever comes in 2 parts and I can get them together but not apart again to check the adjuster is in right.

    Tools

Cheers guys, really appreciate it. I will organize a battle plan tomorrow! First is to stick the new Indicator and Lever on, then a little celebratory ride through to Halfords

    Tools

No budget as yet, but I have low outgoings so I can spend a lot if it's going to be of benefit. I am a complete noob to picking up a spanner. Im fine checking stuff, but not removing/installing etc. I need a list of all the tools, and to sit down in front of Ebay and Halfords and price it all up, I imagine I will be gathering a lot of stuff over the coming weeks. I also imagine me and the swear jar I do not own won't be getting on. Thank you all for the help, I WILL be asking for more though, please be kind I got my first Haynes though!

Ok, so if I am going to tinker with my bike and POSSIBLY work up to doing a 16k service, can anybody help identify exactly which tools I will need? Are there certain brands I should go for? Are cheap tools a good idea or not? Im going to start small (indicator, oil change, fluids, levers) - if I gain confidence, I might try more advanced stuff. But I'm scared of doing something wrong and ruining my baby...

I have met up with a fair few riders on here in my glory days (2008-09) and have just recently become active on the forum again. I look forward to meeting you all sometime.
