Asking for a friend - with a planned trip to Norway coming up (in 3 weeks) my friend has yet to receive his new driving licence back from DVLA (due to massive post-Lockdown backlogs). Multiple attempts to speak to someone have drawn a blank. (The licence renewal was for a simple medical required for his HGV entitlement, which he doesn't even use). He still has his old licence which expired this month. Does anyone know if when arriving by ferry from Denmark there is any requirement to show your driving licence?
