Philippines - home to tropical days, beaches, and islands galore. I can't swap it for a UK one - probably a good idea considering the driving standards are quite different... but I can ride for 12 months on the foreign licence. But that's not to say I'll be able to find insurance.

Thanks, I'll be in South London mostly. Am I right in saying the CBT won't be necessary if you have an existing car licence and over 24?

hi all - I've been out of the UK for 20 years, riding big bikes (900c +) all the while. I'm relocating back home and my old UK licence has no motorcycle entitlement. I'd like to be riding as quickly as possible, but mindful that my UK experience is dated now. What would you recommend? Going for a test only or doing a DAS training course or something else? I don't want to use my foreign licence for long.
