Motorcycle Madness

I'm still considering an e-bike - probs just for commuting - but there's a few things that put me off, one being the lack of noise that my ICE makes, especially the start up and kick-down. Does anyone on here have experiences of noise boxes or anything similar that sound like an ICE? It's also the safety thing especially when filtering

Are you thinking of converting to electric? I've been toying with the idea of buying one, so it'd be interesting to learn about conversions and see if they work!

Thanks for all the comments peeps. I'm still not sure what to do. It'll be second hand if I do get one because of the bonkers pricing, so the battery life / range decreasing as it gets older info is good to know. Anyway, looks like a sunny weekend coming up so I'll be out on my ICE!

.. how do you know then Mr Sticks?! I was hoping electric scooters might need little maintenance too?

Hey all. I went for a ride in the sun yesterday and ended up chatting to a Zero SR/F rider when I stopped for drink. I was going to upgrade from my Bandit to a GSX-R750 before the summer but now considering spending less on a higher mileage one and using an electric scooter for short commutes etc. It's what this fella does and he says it's been a great money saver etc. Anyone else done this?

Hi all. I'm fairly new to motorcycles - I should have learnt to ride ages ago! It's cold on 2 wheels but I'm loving it. Currently on my first proper bike - Bandit 600. Looking forward to maybe a new one in the summer
