so much nice blue sky, white fluffy clouds & warm sunshine here in north cambridgshire, its just taking the p..s, tomorrow will be fecking awful, sods law. whatever though, it's on and cant wait. i think i've done the impossible, making a hayabusa look even bigger and more ugly by strapping all the camping crap to it! steady goes it tomorrow me thinks.....

I just spoke to the pub to check out the state of the camping field and all is well from all this rain. Breakfast is £6 for full English

Well I'm def coming on the bike with the misses no matter what. It will rain, probably for all three days but it's generally localised so bonus if we get some dry spells Thanks to those who organised the weekend, it's stuff like this that makes for a purposefully trip rather than just riding a loop to keep the wits sharp Can't flipping wait Tested the fancy dress out on the kids, shan't be doing that again......

So all this pm'ing about fancy dress, hope there's a prize!!!!! I can honestly say, given that we really don't get out much, this is popping our fancy dress cherry. We'll be going for it so hope we aren't on our jack jones in the bar with everyone else in muggle clothing!!!!!! Looking forward to it Terry

I'm leaving after lunch from Turves I have some old stomping grounds I havnt been to for years so it's The a1 and then A606 to Melton a6006 to Loughborough ish, then back roads through Melbourne, burton, up to derby then A6 to Matlock and the site Cheers Terry

I have no particular timing plans and am leaving from Turves (near March A141) late PM Friday, intend on arriving to pitch up well before dark.... still need to look at route but no doubt it will be a mix up of a bit of mway to get to the good bits.....

well if theres one thing I can do is get pissed, however, the recovery tends to take awhile nowadays!

So is there a 'freshers' area for newbies to this rally lark. we'll be the lame ones dressed normally it seems!! whats the deal with bike parking, is it next to tents on the grass or on hard standing? ta Terry
