@Gerontious thanks so much for your message. I have read that purchasing at some borders like Turkey is a lot more expensive that buying ahead or from another local insurance broker.

Hello all. I am heading off on a 3/4 month tour and will pass through the Alps, Balkans and Turkey I have bought insurance with Devitt but this only covers EU and few others and its not possible to get others included. Does anyone have any tips for getting insurance for countries that you can get covered on your UK policy. Thanks! Tom
