  1. RideWithStyles's post in Yamaha YBR Tyre size was marked as the answer
Yep thats off road/imperial reference no use now, go for the 90/90 size. Might handle slightly different but id make sure it matched the front brand of tyre if I was being particular.

Low oil can be a killer with these engines as they do burn it and designed to do it, add poor oil choices, lack of checking (properly!! With the dip stick day ontop of the casing -unless its a window model), and some other ignorant ownership.

Car compressions are very low compared to bikes, they run a lot higher and have higher revs.
If you check the Honda manual of any age of these engines Compression should be closer to 185psi / 12/13bar if fully fit….so your is sounding it very poorly….😭
if you having to put Aload of revs to make it start from cold from what your saying it could be an indication of your using the fuel, oil and heat to try to seal to gain compression.

no point checking the drain plug even with a mag, need to check the filter, if it’s got shite /shiney stuff on the mag plug then the filter will be clogged up to shite as that should have it all as that’s what it’s designed to do, unless it’s the old useless strainer in the older models but your which should have a proper filter.
cut it open and if you find loads of glitter in the pleats that’s your clue… depending on The size and colour of the glitter will let you know WTF has been worn out/killed…rings, bearings, liners, coatings etc.
from the sounds of it at first thought prepare yourself for abit of pain….
  3. RideWithStyles's post in Break lever bent was marked as the answer
Most of the time they are drop fored, they dont take lightly to being bent back. You’ll have the heat the hell out of it first to at least soften it and make it a tad more malleable to give you the best chance.

if you look them up, if you can link up the parts number? If they match they will be the same. Sometimes the similar model line up might share parts (cbf,cb, cbr etc)
  4. RideWithStyles's post in Help! Tucano Urbano Handmuffs Not Fitting was marked as the answer
    Ermmm.
On the first pic - forget the part on the right side.
middle part might go into the handle bar, the bolt fits through the metal chrome and threads into the middle part and opens up like a bladder to stay in place.
  5. RideWithStyles's post in GSX 750 Valve Adjustment (Tappets) was marked as the answer
Errrm its correct, dont know if your taking it literal from one perspective 🤔.

in mechanical terms when fixing a lot of thing, cyl 1 its viewed on the left as you sit on the bike on top and from behind the airbox in most cases.

But when doing a valve check you will be doing it (or should be) infront of the engine (facing the manifold) as the engine is tilted forward in the frame toward the front wheel.
So cly 1 is the start or lead in the sequence which is on the right as correct in the drawing.
cly2 ext valve is at the right side bottom of the drawing but if you was sat on top of the bike as riding it would be on the top left as the manifold is facing away.

so they have spun it around for you to make it easy not to have to mirror think it over and muller rice it.

    does that make sense?

  6. RideWithStyles's post in Honda CB125F 2021 model - taking front cowl/front headlamp off. Please help! was marked as the answer
Im not familiar With this newer model as i/we have a earlier model but they are generally put together fairly similar, bare with us.
    Pics help.

anyway with honda design they layer and over lapping them and have popper fitments too to hold them together.
So you may have to take off a-lot more off the bike just to get a simple part.

you might have to take the side panels off first (each side of tank but just below), most likely will be 6 bolts and at least one but could be two poppers holding each the side on.
The bare minimum will One on top to the cock pit, one down the other side but lower down, one in the middle closer to the engine, one down the back behind the middle calf plastic part under the seat, plus the poppers.

remember they do have a habit of hiding bolts behind a different panel next to it(laying), so that will need loosening or removing before hand.
Then the clocks, will have to come out so you can get to the bolts holding the front screen and surrounding..then the light unit and have ultra flexible baby hands help.

yep its a pain in the arse.

Bulbs/ the leds they tend to find the cheapest sh1te they can dig out of the bin, fuses, wires, connectors including the loom running around the head stock - the Chinese are well into cutting corners far too much.
