Sounds weird I know but........Does anyone know what the round piece of metal is for that's between the tail light and fuse box?

Its mounted on rubber and is round with a diameter of about 2 inches and about an inch and half thick.

Hello,

Sorry cant take a pic unless the whole rear plastic surround is removed, Its just a bit further back from that circle you have drawn. It's not connected to anything except the frame with 2 nuts.

It's just solid metal rubber mounted. :?

No it's not attached to anything except the frame, I had it off the other day when i removed the entire rear surround to sort a number plate bracket.

It's odd, just seems like a counterweight but only weighs about a kilo if that
