Anyway my bike has been in my parents garage just gettin older and rustier (cheers dad for lookin after it like you said you would, hmm) anyway any tips of how to get the rust of? Colin the Bear Posted October 10, 2009 Share Posted October 10, 2009 Clean the affected area with Cillit bang. It contains Phosphoric acid. This reacts with the iron oxide making it inert and black. Coca cola has the same ingredient but not as concentrated.
