chris128 Posted March 7, 2010 Author Share Posted March 7, 2010 haha I did sit on it a few times but no brum brum noises I havent taken any pictures yet because there's so much crap in the garage that is in the way that I cant get it out yet lol i'll take some during the week though once I shift it Oh and I bought a car today and got them to throw in the purchase and fitting of a tow bar with the price of the car its a red 2004 Seat Leon n I'm picking it up on Thursday so will have it for Friday morning for cadwell dont you love it when a plan comes together! Only slight problem remaining now is actually picking the trailer up from the place im renting it from, I'm hoping they will be able to drop it off at my house while im at work on thursday as I only live about 10 mins away from them... Are they aware it's imperative the you get it on the thursday? I've had my fair share of 'guarantees' that a car will be ready by a certain time only to have it changed time after time. chris128 Posted March 8, 2010 Author Share Posted March 8, 2010 Yeah I told them it needs to be ready to drive and with the towbar fitted for 7 AM Friday morning so I'm picking it up on Thursday after work. If its not ready for some reason then I guess I'll have to just go do the track day on my road bike but I'll be a bit gutted as one of the reasons I needed to buy a car today and not spend more time finding a car I really wanted was so that I could use it this Friday.. we will see though! chris128 Posted March 9, 2010 Author Share Posted March 9, 2010 Called LouthBikes today and they said it shouldnt be a problem delivering the trailer to me on Thursday and I called the place I'm buying the car from and asked them to make me a duplicate number plate for me to put on the trailer as I had forgotten all about that. Also got some ratchet tie downs (though no idea how to use them yet...) and checked oil level, chain tension, tyre pressures etc on the track bike last night so I think I'm all set now!
