archiec Posted February 14, 2010 Share Posted February 14, 2010 Hi thereAnyone got tips on removing surface rust spots from chrome that have appeared over the winter as my bike was outside but under a cover, I want to clean it up before it gets more serious. Guest Posted February 14, 2010 Share Posted February 14, 2010 If its only slight rust then try using a bit of metal polish,if you havnt got any Apply a little 3 in 1 oil to some 000 grade wire wool,once rust is under the chrome then its the start of the rot,keep on top of it unless you want to see it get worse Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
