Guest Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Cotswolds is a different matter, the day tours from London mostly use big coaches and can't cover the unspolt bits most people go to the Cotswolds for, you end up in tourist traps and combining the Cotswolds with Oxford, Stratford and/or warwick Castle.I would recommend taking the train or bus to Oxford and using one of the local minibus tours like Cotswold Roaming from Oxford that focus purely on the Cotswolds and get you into the lanes and villages the big coaches cannot and you probably wouldn't find if you hired a car.
