The Boundary 500 Motorcycle Challenge takes place on 16th June 2007. The run is to raise funds for The Great North Air Ambulance Service. Last year 137 bikers raised £29000. Also on the same day will be a Classic Challenge of 120 miles around the Yorkshire Dales for Classic bikes.

Will be your pillion......dont think I could manage 500 miles

Not read it yet, but maybe you can just do part of it, instead of the full 500miles? Will have a look later.

You could do just part, but the fun would be to do the whole thing, just to say you did it, the most I've ever done in a day is about 350 miles, so it should be do-able, I know a few who did it last year :D

Cheers

No you have to do full 500, unless you in the Classic category in which case it is 120miles, but thats only for older bikes...

I met two of the doctors who work on the cumbria air ambulance last November. On the day I was at their house they were going to Penrith for the naming of the helicopter in dedication for the doctor who died. Might be up for the ride if I can fit it in
