T180985 Posted June 17, 2010 Author Posted June 17, 2010 Piece of piss mate I might be gettin one next month not sure yetif your running fast group then racing is an option but if not I wouldn't bother well I was in the int/fast group yesterday and think I was pretty fast compared to most people only really had one person overtake me that wasn't related to being stuck in traffic. Only reason I'm asking is my Instructor said I would probably learn more from doing an ACU track/test day as atleast I wouldnt get stuck in traffic it would be me holding people up lol depending how I get on there I'm considering doing some kind of club racing tbh Quote
Guest philgale Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 What track and what times were you doin...if your gettin held up I reckon you need more practice passing people I was the same till I just upto fast now I don't give a shit if it's a bit close wave to say sorry and carry on Quote

Didn't get any sleep night before so riding was a bit sloppy, next time I'm hoping to consistantly get into the 57'sbut yea your right it's only my second track day and the instructor said I need some more experience to help round things off etc Quote
Guest philgale Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Good times mate I wouldn't say go in fast after 2 days They run inters/fast when they can't fill fast so really it's inters but will have a few quick ones in...Have a look at race meetings that are just after a td and book on that it will be full of acu lads All sticking in low 50's and on a short track that's a big differenceif I were you I would look at doin css or google mike 'spike' Edwards he's the only acu aproved instructor and I know a few guys who used him and only good things have been said Quote
