I want to have the strap on my helmet replaced.

I saw a helmet I liked fastened to the little helmet bracket on the back of someones bike so chopped it off with a stanley knife and now I can't fasten it up........

Not really, it just sounded a bit more interesting than the boring crap you're about to read.

I really like my helmet bar one thing, it has a seatbelt style strap clip, and if you tighten it up at the start of a ride it's loose about 2 hours later, my old helmet had a ratchet fastner which was great, and the one before that had had a double d fastening. Either one of those would do me.

Does anyone know anywhere that would be able to sort this? It's an AGV S4 by the way.

Cheers all,

Toby

I'd be trying AGV direct, or giving an AGV dealer a ring mate :thumb:

I've never seen replacement straps. How would it attach to the helmet and more importantly, could you be sure it'd stay attached if you crashed?

I know where you're coming from though; i had the seat belt type on another helmet and that kept coming loose too. I've got the ratchet type on my AGV and it's easy to use but i'm not sure how secure it is. Prefer the DD and bar types myself i think.

Yeah, those seat belt connectors put me off a couple of helmets. I like the simplicity and security of the double D ring. Who doesn't like double Ds?
