Stuno1 Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Hi evryone,Hopefully i will sell my car soon so will be looking for all the gear. So far i am swaying towards RST leathers, boots and Gloves. They seem good, have all the protection in terms of spine protector, shoulder protectors etc, good stitching and so on.However i know noting about bike gear and wondered if it is any good?Stuart Quote
Edgey Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 I have an RST Helmet which is decent for it being a dirt cheap one. Also recently bought RST kevlar lined jeans, great quality denim and really comfy, great alternative to draggin's but I haven't purchased any leathers, tried one of their jackets (Razor) on at J&S and it was sporty and comfy, nice fit, possibly not as comfy if on a non-sport positioned bike but having not bought it I can't really say any more than that. Guest Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 RST ant bad at allinfact i have a winter textile rst jacket, very good. Stupidly warm, water and totally wind proof with removable lining etc and only 90 quid. they do make some good gear EDIT: or was it 70? lol Quote
nman1 Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 No probs with RST gear. I had RST for my first set. Go for it Quote
DeeJ Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 My first leathers were RST, cracking, and a bargain. Also picked up a RST helmet for dirt cheap, and its also good apart from alot of wind noise, and doesn't feel solid. Most of my mates use RST gear, and its very good quality for the price, but the helmets like i said are poor quality. Stuno1 Posted July 12, 2010 Author Posted July 12, 2010 Cheers for all the replies people. Have made up my mind to get RST gear. Quote
Guest philgale Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 work out what budget you have, RST are good cheap range but if you have a bit more money to spend look at other stuff which IMO would be much better...berik, alpinstars, dainese etc etc, the quality of those compared to RST will be worlds apart. Stu Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 i crashed in RST gear and it stood up really well and i would buy it again Quote
Julesholling Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Got an RST leather jacket and love it. The fit is really good, style is good and the price was very goodHaven't put it to the ultimate test yet but fingers crossed i never do Quote
