supersapien Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Does anyone know of a way of filtering the ultrasonic cleaning fluid. i understand that the sound waves can't travel through fluid that's filled with dirt and rust as well as it can through clean fluid, but it seems a waste to just throw it away. i'm wondering if trying to pass it through a oil filter will do any good? if so, any ideas of what oil filter is the best or if anyone has any other ideas Quote

Guest Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 How much fluid are you talking about? Blotting paper maybe?Where do you work? Got any mates who are engineers? Ask em to pinch a bit of grinding filter paper ...Stu has a point though ... Quote

Guest Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 put some blotting paper into a funnel or some fine cloth (folded hanky) and pour the liquid through it. if it runs throught quickly its not fine enough, Muslin from catering suppliers is good.. Quote
Phill_vtr Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Could try a fine paint filter but not sure how fine they go. Quote
