In Aid of the Poppy Appeal

The Poker Run is a simple idea where participants compete to get the best hand in a single game of poker. There will be five checkpoints to travel to and you draw a card at each one. The card will then be noted on your score sheet and you will ride on to the next checkpoint.

This year the RBLR Midlands Region will be holding their Poker Run in association with Unwanted MCC which means there will be camping on site Saturday night for particiants. No charge but we'll have a donation bucket for you to throw a donation into if you wish. So thats camping, charity run, hundreds of pounds worth of prizes and an after run party all for a fiver.

Participants should aim to be on site no later than 10.30 am on Saturday and should bring along their registration packs or register on the day between 8.00am and 10.30 am. The run commences at 11am and then lasts until 5pm. The party will then continue with music and general meriment with prize giving at around 6pm.

1st Prize - £100 Hein Gericke Vouchers, a guided tour around the Norton Factory with merchandise, Muc-Off Cleaning Kit thanks to Moby Dick Scooters and a pair of gloves from Bob Minions

2nd Prize - £100 BMW clothing vouchers thanks to Clarks BMW

A cracking weekend, some good roads to ride even if it was a little moist. Good company with a warm welcome from the hosts Unwanted MCC.

Would have been worth having the worst hand 2 tickets to the MotoGP at Silverstone.
