demise of sanity Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 hey , not long now , friday infact when i go in for my theory , ive been revising , and interestingly my average mark has been 40 , but never the 43 needed , so questions im not sure on i am going to flag and think and double check .. But alately it has been getting to me , the thought of if i fail i have to wait 10 days so thatll delay for my practical and the cost of it.. I guess , like with any test i almost get adrenaline rush , so sat in there will be different from sat at home listening to music whilst doing it , but i am worried and like i say itll be a weight off my shoulders when i take it , im just wondering if you can give me any tips , or advice for my big day on friday?thanks Quote
Guest Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 firstly while your sat at home practising, turn off the bloody music. How the hell can you concentrate with words and tunes going on around you. There s no music during the test. So dont listen while learning. and on friday just read the questions properly. Read them twice to be sure. It aint a race to have the fastest time to complete it. It s all common sense really. Some silly questions i know. But the hazard part is just common sense. I read the book when i did mine but did nt have a clue about the video part. Thought i had failed but got 49 of the 50 questions and dropped about 6 points on the hazard part. flew through it. Like i said turn off the tunes and practice again. And good luck Quote
bwhiti Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I've got to agree with ker5h turn the music off your brain will be able to soak all the info with no distractions Quote
Guest Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 tip with the hazard make sure you click when any 'suspected' hazard might be developing, or road signs, round abouts etc etc then click again if it develops into a hazard. Remember there can be more than one hazard per clip.As for the multi-choice, practice with others if your score is not improving turn it into a game decide your answer first and let them decide after.Good luck and take your time on the day, read the questions fully and looks at the answers twice before deciding. hammer5 Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Study the night before and no study on the day, let the brain store the information as it needs time and studying on the same day can cloud most of the information already digested. And chill out on the morning, go for a long walk to de-stress get some fresh air and be as confident as you should be.Good LuckBB Quote
