Battery conditioning without any power supply

Afternoon. I think i'll need to sort something to keep my battery from dying on the Daytona over winter during periods where there are no dry days. It's garaged but I don't have any power to the garage.

Is there any systems whereby the bike battery can be conditioned from another battery which in turn is designed to be recharged from the mains after being run flat?

I'm thinking back to when i was a kid and used to race radio controlled cars. We charged the little car batteries from a big car battery (or caravan battery or whatever) between races so they were toppers for the start. Then the big battery was trickle charged back at home from the mains. I can't remember if it was ever run completely flat though. I guess it wouldn't matter if i remembered to recharge it once a week.

Ta.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't need a conditioner attached 24/7.

So you could just use an extension lead to charge it say, once a week for x hours.

Alternatively, disconnect the battery and take it into the house to charge.

I'm assuming the alarm will go off if i take the battery out. I've not read the instructions properly yet though. If it just needs a few hours once a week then i'm surei can manage that.

Thanks.
