Guest Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Whats the gap between the chain and tyre (where they are next to each other, the edge of the tyre and the chain passing going to the front sprocket)After adjusting my chain (im not sure if it was like this before) the gap is only 1 or 2mm (barley enough space to get a piece of cardboard there to protect the tyre and stuff from lube/parafin)I've checked the alignment and it seems fine.If there is one job I hate its adjusting chains lol. Guest Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 It normally runs quite close... that sounds a bit too close though.Have you checked the the tyre size is correct for your bike? Quote
Guest Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Just a quick update, brought the other side out slightly (the right side as you sit on it) and its made putting a piece of cardboard in easier (like I *think* it should be..or close to it) But its still pretty close? Canna remember the SV but the YBR has space for my hand. The tyre size is 180/55 which is correct.. I always seem to have problems Quote
