Guest Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Hi, Can any well tell me if you can use house polish?(MR SHEEN) As a chain de-greaser. My mate highly recommends this. Quote
Guest Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Hmmmmmmm Might work? Polish takes a layer off every time you use it, not the greatest thing for a chain I guess??Use paraffin, probably better ! Quote

Danny-B- Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Mr sheen is a great degreaser .. i use it on my wheels when their caked in shite ... dunno about the effects of putting it on the chain .. but it would deffo get rid of the crud. Quote
Guest akey Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 I wouldnt use it as it probably has some sort of solvent in it that could damage the o or x rings in your chain this will substantially shorten its life.Parafin is the best chain degreaser. Quote
Guest Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Do believe I have a link in my chain care guide.Paraffin is a shed load cheaper for a start Quote
