Concreted in ground anchors

Recommended Posts

Can anyone recommend a decent ground anchor (cheaper the better)? I have an inspection pit in my garage that will be filled in with concrete at some point so I can either get a ground anchor that is concreted in or one that you drill holes for.

Should ideally fold flat, don't want to be running over a protruding loop, don't think my tyres would appreciate it :D

Your in an ideal position to get a decent anchor put right down into the floor of the garage. Something along the lines of this;

Once installed, it's completely flush with the floor, there's no attacking that without some pretty hefty tools and lots of noise.

If you are having an inspection pit filled in when don't you do as do as Techno suggests but put two hardened bars in then you could do front and back if you so wished. Cost won't be that much higher and what you save of the anchor you can use on a second chain.
