cypek Posted April 1, 2011 Share Posted April 1, 2011 Hi all. Anyone have any experience with replacing fork seals on G2 Ninja? I have Haynes manual so I roughly know the idea but better to have some 1st hand advice So, will I need any special tools? Do I have to replace oil or can it be done somehow without breaking it completely in to pieces? I am on really tight budget as I'm not working atm. I can get oil seals and dust seals for around £20. eastanglianbiker Posted April 1, 2011 Share Posted April 1, 2011 yep you will need new fork oil and if they are standard forks then dont fully dismantle them once you have them out of the yokes you wil need to lift dust caps and remove circlips,then you will see large allen key countersunk into the bottom of the forks undo it from there once bolt undone you will use the top part as slide hammer to pull seal out of bottom leg.
