Cheers to Akey for putting this ride up here or I'm sure I'd have missed it! Excellently organised and run event, a big thumbs up from me

Cheers Dave/TC for the company and for sticking around and searching out a 'working' fuel station for us when I was almost on fumes!

I did 550 miles door to door, fuel was £65ish for the Blackbird carrying a pillion and the new Corbin seat passed it's first big test nicely

Drank an awful lot of coffee from coast to coast and all were of differing 'quality'

Renne said he really would've liked to do the ride - it's difficult for him because of working on the Sunday night.

I was home and in bed for 0630 sue, but i didnt hang around when I left skeggy. We arrived in Skeggy at 0410, had a bacon buttie, a couple of pictures and thank yous then off home.

Thanks for organising the run it was fantastic to do.I wouldn't worry about the limited experience I have had little and every body makes you feel welcome and and one of the crowd even with my ebay special xj 600 I did it and cant wait to do it again.

Left at 5pm arrived south stack at 8pm.Left south stack and arrived at Skeggy at 4.10.Left Skeggy at 5 am and arrived home at 7.30 am.12.5 hours out

548 miles covered and a sore arse.No comments please
