Comrade Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 So im gonna teach myself to ride, driving for 16 years so im good with roads and signs. What im wondering is what would be a good lesson layout so im not aimlessly just riding about lol.Gona do test at Gateshead tyne and wear, basic plan is to hed down there, about 20 odd mile ride there up A19 then start at test centre, then just go for it, try n find the most ridiculous traffic systems lol Quote
scanty Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 from dunston, where the test centre actually is (just by the metrocentre), basically head towards hexham. that's what the tester told me to do on the "free ride" section Quote
scanty Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 don't get me wrong, they will direct you for a fair old chunk of the test, but that's easy enough. just gotta remember to relax. oh and try not to get any songs stuck in your head in the morning or you'll be singing all through your test like i did Quote
argentum40 Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 instructor told me to go to Dunston test centre and try and follow an actual test...obviously not to closely but it will give you a good idea of the kind of route to expect Quote
