can you ride a restricted bike on a cbt??

hi, wanted to know if I could ride a bike restricted on a cbt, looking at a vtr1000 firestorm which is my dream bike, and then I could use it straight after I pass my tests unrestricted, Im 18 btw so Ill have to wait quite some time for the full license!!

Nope, until you pass your test you're limited to 125cc and a power output not exceeding 11 kiloWatt (kW).

Your 18, you could do your test and ride that bike restricted to 33bhp if you wanted, but TBH you would be better looking at something smaller.

I am 17 and have just passed my test and its only 2 years until you can ride a full power bike.
