techno Posted November 14, 2007 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Yes it needs replacing!I had a chain that needed doing every2 weeks then it broke luckily I was doing about 15mph at the time.Got a new chain didnt need doing for 18 mths! Guest nigelf Posted November 15, 2007 Share Posted November 15, 2007 the difference is the way the oil/grease is held in each link to do with the little rubber seals.. goolge the did or other chain web sites they will have pictures to show... if you can afford go for the X they are supposed to be better.
