craig Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 being doing a few more jobs to it......... http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e124/craig1976/DSCF1146.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e124/craig1976/DSCF1147.jpgthere was a small oil leak from the clutch cover so drained the oil to discover there was no gasket or any gasket paste ,so ive fitted a new one and changed the filter and put fresh oil in and seams ok http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e124/craig1976/DSCF1194.jpgand heres the can i bought its a viper race can,it was on the large side so got someone i know to shorten it and it sounds sweet .heres what ive spent up to now..1.stripped both front calipers,fitted new pads,and new seal kit on one of them......£41.00.2.fitted another tail section,good old ebay ......£42.00.3.removed forks ,one was bent so had it straighted new fork oil,oil seals and dust seals ......£72.00.4.replaced left side foot hanger and front master cylinder incl brake leaver......£38.00.5.front tyre...... free.6.replace tank as it was damaged £38.00.7.fit replacement mud guard £20.00.8.another free tyre (plugged and fitted) £10.00.9.oil + filter and new gasket £32.00.10.exhast and cutting it down £50.00 salvaged link pipe from a scrap bin Think i will go over my budget spent £343.00 up to now Quote

eastanglianbiker Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 at the bottom of the down pipes you just need to cut plates big enough to cover the bad area and weld them straight over the top dressing it into shape as you go not that hard to do Quote
