randomobject Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 congrats mate, glad to hear you enjoyed it Quote
Sparky65 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 All very strange but if you're happy, fine. Quote
Tango Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Well done Pitt.......it's only when you start riding regularly that you really "learn to ride".... Have you sorted a bike yet?Bob Quote
Throttled Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Well done But, like others, I would ask again as to why you were 'failed' because of the other guy. I did my CBT with two others and one of them was politely told to drop out. After lunch only two of us went out for the road part. That is how I understand the way it should be done. A quick email to the DSA letting them know what happened would sort this out. Quote
Pitt Posted October 2, 2011 Author Posted October 2, 2011 I wasn't failed, we just didn't have enough time to continue as it was already 4PM.So, we continued on the next day, but they wanted ME to pay £50.00 as well Anyway, I've done it now and £50.00 won't pay me for the time I will spend arguing with them, so I let it go. Focusing on my Theory and Module 1 & 2 to get soon. Quote
Bogof Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Anyway, I've done it now and £50.00 won't pay me for the time I will spend arguing with them, so I let it go. Focusing on my Theory and Module 1 & 2 to get soon. A pragmatic approach. What a welcome sight! Theory is easy. Just don't relax after the sheep Quote

Think this happens quite a bit - if the CBT overruns they generally just charge bike hire for subsequent sessions tho.Anyway, water under the bridge, Congratulations!!! Quote
Tango Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Hey Pitt....it's the result that counts......how you get there is superfluous........ Good luck with the Theory, Mod1 & Mod2...... Funny you said earlier about friends and family worrying about you on a bike......I'm 53 now and my Mum & Dad still worry about me riding a bike.....and my first bike was in 1975!!.... Bob Quote
Pitt Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Haha nice comments. And Tango, I wasn't even born in 1975 Quote
Ash Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Congratulations. This is just the beginning of an extremely enjoyable and rewarding journey Quote
