Guest Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Hi there,Remembrance Day is a great time to visit. VIA train service is excellent between Ottawa and Montreal. You would want to get the first train out of Montreal in the morning. I would recommend a taxi from the train station to downtown. It's not that far. Spend the afternoon walking around Parliament Hill and the Byward Market, have lunch, and then get the evening train back to Montreal.VIA Rail has 50 percent off right fares now, if you book by October 19. Rebel Rach Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Hi there,Remembrance Day is a great time to visit. VIA train service is excellent between Ottawa and Montreal. I'm sure the vast majority of us would be up for a quick trip to Canada for a walk around. Know of any discount flights as we may need them before our train tickets Quote
