Stu Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 could be a number of things corroded fitment broken wire bad earth etc etc have you got a multimeter? if not go buy one they are cheap and start testing the wiring and connectors Quote
Chrissb6 Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Link broken between loom and light fitting check connections, possible loose connection in the back of the light fitting or connection to the loom. Quote
Tango Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I'd go along with the broken wire or bad earth to the indicator fitting. Take a wire from the housing or earth connection to the frame of the bike to see if its an earthing problem. Quote
Colin the Bear Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 It's usually a dirty / rusty bulb housing, unless some thing has rubbed with vibration and is broken or shorting Quote
gixxer50 Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 Sorted today, was just a rusted connection....... Its a 20 yr old bike after all so happy days now..... Quote
