I'd be inclined to agree that may be something caught under the car or a stone. Actually, something like this happened to me a few years ago. I took my car out after there had been a lot of high winds and there was a scraping noise when I hit the dual carriageway. I stopped on the hard shoulder and had a quick look under the car but could see nothing so I dropped into a local garage. A long branch had wedged itself under the car and was dragging on the ground - needless to say I was a bit embarrassed when they pointed it out to me

I recently had a squeaking noise on my car when I was going round corners.

Had the car serviced & mentioned the noise & also the fact that the brakes were grinding a bit. The bloke checked everything, cleaned the pads & discs cos there was a lot of crud on the pads and they're fine now - and the squeaking has stopped!!

So you could just get the brake pads/discs cleaned up - see if that helps

Right now we are going to play it by ear, if the noise returns, it will be booked into garage asap. Just looking for possibilities here, sorry for the lack of details, this is really all I have to go on myself.
