Bike won't start

Ive had a lot of problems lately with wiring etc but today after I went to town, the bike wouldn't start at all. There's no sound at all from the starter motor, there's nothing. The neutral light isn't on either which is unusual. I can bump start it easy and even if I leave it running, the battery doesn't seem to charge. Any idea what I should do first as I'm trying to diagnose the problem.

Is there any power at all?

If there is try starting with the side stand up and clutch pulled in

No neutral light could be gear position sensor and it won't start with the side stand down and no neutral light

Cheers. Before I get the engine going there's nothing. I thought it may have been the cut off on the side stand but I don't think my bike has one. I've tried it with the clutch in and out
