Colin the Bear Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I saw a turntable made from two circles of sheet metal, big rivet in the centre and liberally greased inbetween. Pop it on the cetre stand and Boing , time for bed. Worked a treat. I use a bike lift myself. Quote
dragolith Posted March 22, 2012 Author Posted March 22, 2012 Dropped the bike again, I don't believe it.Now she lives back in the front entrance hallway, the ground clearance aint so good getting it out but at least it's a straight entry! Also booked her in for the 16k Service next Thursday with new Michelin Pilot Road 2 tyres. Tango Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 So did you order those tings from Buster's? If you did I'd be interested in how you get on with them..... Quote
dragolith Posted March 22, 2012 Author Posted March 22, 2012 Yeah, the roller helped me get it in the front door! Also ordered these...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190631604049?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 Quote
whitedevil Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Hahaha you dirty man! I ended up getting thishttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300652037947?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2648 £51.99 WTF!I'd just swivel it on the side stand or make a turntable set in the floor. Quote
dragolith Posted March 22, 2012 Author Posted March 22, 2012 Turntable wouldn't work given the angle of the doorway. The glide buddy works fine round the front door to swing the tail round to a 90 degree angle for entry into the hallway. The only issue is the clearance over the door frame. Need to make a 2 part ramp, I already have one half though. Quote
