Tango Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 This would probably be best in Pitstop....but I suspect a warped disk if it only happens when braking. Quote
Bonniebird Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Sounds like mine and that's caused by a slightly warped disc - I've a new one to fit when I get the chance. The other possibiity could be sticking calipers I guess. Quote
Tango Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Could also be loose Steering Head bearings....... Quote
Colin the Bear Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 A problem with brakes would mean it's best not to ride till it's sorted. imo Quote
Boro Jake Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Sounds like a warped disk, i'd first check theres no shite in the calipers and on the pins Quote
Guest Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Very rare you get warped discs, I have repaired many by stripping the callipers and re building them, no matter how good they seem to start with , also check that the discs are floating free on the rivets Quote
