You may not need a genuine Triumph flasher relay, which will probably cost the national debt of a small country. My Triumph Thunderbird has a Halfords generic flasher unit in it and works perfect :thumb:

Find the flasher relay on your bike and see what the connections look like, mine has 2 terminals in an L shape :)

I think i'll try the relay first, When i was riding today they were flashing quickly even at higher revs. at one point though coming to a stop they flashed normally for a while until i put it in neutral.

Does sound like a dodgy flasher relay Ed. Either that or a dodgy connection somewhere or bad earth. Good luck with sorting it mate.... :)

out and about today it was flashing fast nearly all the time (regardless of revs) so i think it's on the blink. i'm going to pick up a cheap halfords one if i can find it (their site only has 4 & 5 pin listed). they seem cheap enough to just take a chance, as opposed to OEM @ £50

I've never paid more than £10 for a flasher relay. You don't need a Triumph one! Relays do mess up from time to time and it's an easy and cheap part to start with.

Cheers pointblank.

I checked the indicators today and the cases say:

Original:

R10w

11 12

E11

New:

2v 2.0w

H21w

11 12

E11

Looking at a parts site, the OEM triumph bulbs do appear to be 10w and the new ones are 21w

I've emailed the seller about this one, but I think this should do the job:

still going to give moving the indicators about again to check.
