BonnieBird & I are planning a run tomorrow (Bank Hol Tuesday) to get the Old Post Office Sandwich Co, Boston - Cadwell - Willingham Woods Cafe tags.

We'll be leaving Hartford Marina at 10:00 - so if anyone fancies a run (approx 200 miles) then meet us there or possibly en-route...... 8-)

Shame you couldn't get away Cat...... :(

Not a bad ride out.....but some of the roads were a bit boring. The Old Post Office Sandwich Co is no more.......current owner has been there 2 years. It's a butchers shop now.

Cadwell!!.......thought there's bound to be signs for it on the A16 Boston-Louth road.....nothing!!! Even when we got to Louth....nothing. Went past the road to Cadwell....nothing. Finally found a sign for it.......pointing into the entrance, right outside.... But if you come from the other direction from Market Rasen there is a sign pointing down a road saying Cadwell 11 miles....

Anyway.....was a fair run.....and didn't run into any rain until a couple of miles from home.... 8-)

Sorry Dave

We should've posted with a bit more notice but the timing was a bit dependant on weekend beer intake, the weather and getting my brakes done :D

Missed it too folks, and I was out on the bike yesterday morning. Reminder to self,

GET COMPUTER AT HOME.

Sounds like you had a good day out

Cadwell is a nightmere to find.

Me and roy had trouble finding it even when the BSB was on

Dave, with my sense of direction, I`d having trouble fininding it sitting in the lay-by at the entrance.

Hi

I'm planning to have a run out tmrw morning with no particular route planned

Looking at 3-4 hours or so going early ish?

does this suit your plan?

Not sure how long this route takes?

Hi Terry.

Kings Lynn - Boston - Spilsby - Louth - Market Rasen is 80-odd miles and about 2 1/2 hours with stops I reckon. Probably half that on your 'busa

No real route planned, was just going to make it up as I went along but If you know the roads etc and know a decent route then I'm happy to meet up near you and follow you.

Making it up a bit is half the fun

I'll go get a map out and start planning a bit

I'll pm with mobile etc

Shall we say 9.30 at the a17/a47 junction?

Pullover roundabout?

That's the same place as the a47/a17 jnctn?

See you there at 9.30

I've got one of the those toughest maps in the world which has enough detail for picking a route out

Cheers till then
