Im goin out today to buy my first pair off boots and my budget is between £150-£180 the boots that have caught my eye are:

TCX ss sport waterproof

TCX s zero waterproof

Alpinestar smx4 waterproof

These are the ones i have tried on and they all seem to fit well, if there are any others that people could recommend i can try them on as im going to my local j&s

Any help would be great

Depends on the style and criteria you have mate........I like my Sidi Black Rain Evo's.....but they are not for Power Rangers.....

I like sports boot but i prefer the one without lots of plastic around them dont they tend to squeek?

My Sidi's don't squeak.....but some of the more sport orientated boots can squeak.....however there are several remedies to this.....

I have TCX S zero waterproof boots. I have been out in the cold (15 degrees) no I jest, 4 degrees for a hour and didn't get cold toes, I suffer cold hands and feet normally too. They don't get too hot when it's 18 degrees but if its 25 I guess they will, if its 30 degrees flip flops get hot ;)

I haven't tested them but Ride mag say they are highly water tight. They look subtle being mainly black. They are comfortable to my foot. Fair value for money and I'm happy with mine. :)

So did I, then a 20mph spill wore through the FT Aquaboots leather till it was about 0.1mm thick and you could see my toes, so now I have sidi vertebrates with plastic armour all over them.

I've been using alpine stars gortex smx boots for years and I love em.

I just wear heavy leather harness boots. I like boots that I can walk around in cumfy that look normal when I've parked up somewhere, with the advantage of being able to wear them outside leathers or inside jeans
