Guest Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 How easy is it to change rear wheel bearings for a newbie ?Any tips ?Bike Yamaha R6 5eb[THUMBS UP SIGN] Quote
Chrissb6 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Easy enough if you've got the tools and know how. Have a read up or check youtube for a vid, someone will have put one on to show you the way. If you've not sure you can handle it. I would whip the wheel out and take it into a work shop. Quote
Grumpy Old Git Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Say 'hi' in the 'newby' section.Should have no problems changing the bearings out (unless they are siezed?). Quote

Stu Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Wheel bearings are pretty easy to do the hardest part is taking the wheel off if you can manage that then you will easily get the bearings out Quote
megawatt Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 You don't get handy without getting yer hands dirty. Wheel bearings are pi$$ easy to do. Just need a hammer and a drift( piece of tube or bar slightly smaller than bearing inner race. Why give money away??? Quote
