What do i need to have to ride a 125cc?

hi i am 19 years old, and looking to start riding a motorbike again. My CBT has ran out so i think i need to retake that. Is it only the cbt i need to ride a 125 at the age of 19?

also my dad has stopped riding and sold his bike, could he be the main driver on the 125? thanks

how can i get rid of the `L` plates? full bike licence?

Indeedy....otherwise you'll keep the "L"ovely plates for 2 years and have to complete a CBT Renewal

(I've only been riding for a month but will be glad when they are off!!)

try ebay gumtree etc none really there? any more good sites? none on autotrader aswell.

They're pretty expensive bikes! With your budget, you're more likely going to score a YBR, CBF, CBR or something similar. If you do score an RS at that price, you'll probably have to learn some basic mechanics!

yeah cagiva mito on ebay for 750 atm looks decent and genuine. but im in Manchester and thats on the south coast lol

Nothing stopping him. If you mean in terms of insurance then only if he is actually is the main driver of the 125. If not then that is fronting which is illegal.
