Guest Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Well I have been thinking should I wait until Im 18 and go back to the country i was born in to acquire a full motorcycle license and not to bother with the laws and regulations in the UK. However will my license be accepted and will i be able to ride any size motorbike in the UK, also will insurance cost me more cause the license hasn't been obtained in the UK? I forgot to mention that I have done a CBT and im 16 years old going to be 17 in few months and will that be a problem if i ask to change the European license for a UK one and then they see that i have done a AM license in UK?Excuse my poor English. Thanks, any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Rad Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 In short, if you obtain a full license in your country, you will be allowed to ride any size bike in UK. Yes, if you get a big bike your insurance premiums will most probably be humongous. However, if your country is in EU it's likely to have the same rules as UK, or will have them very soon. For example in Poland we now have the same age restrictions and license categories as it UK. Quote
